Rebuttal to DRC Slander

Dear Rescue Associates:

I am sad to, once again, have to tell you that the barrage of slanderous charges directed at me and our rescue, Oodles of Doodles, Inc., by my former rescue and partner, Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc. / Jacquie Yorke, President, still continues. It has been almost two years since I resigned from the rescue I founded with her, yet she persists in making false claims, leveling fictional charges and creating damaging reports about us and our rescue endeavors.

I am a mother, a wife and employed teacher and I created the Doodle Rescue & Resource Collective in January, 2009 to address a problem of Labradoodles and Goldendoodles in rescue situations to list and show people that a BYB or Breeder charging thousands of dollars for this “Designer Breed,” was not the only avenue to obtain one. I started this listing service on the Social Forum: Doodle Kisses in 2008 and moved to my own website http://doodlerescuecollective.com on January 19, 2009. I purchased the urls associated with this website and any claims by my former partner are completely fictitious. This information is public knowledge and can be easily searched on Google as to who owns a url. It is registered with GoDaddy. We, as Doodle Rescue Collective, did not start doing actual rescuing until June, 2009, we did not incorporate in the state of NJ until December, 2009 and operated out of MY personal bank account and Paypal account until December, 2009 when we switched over to a joint account. TOGETHER, Ms. Yorke and I worked an entire week to prepare our 501(c)3 paperwork, which was paid for by a donation from one of our friends and, at the time, FL Director. Claims by Ms. Yorke that I was somehow not involved or marginally involved are a further indication of her delirium.

ALL claims that I “stole” anything are complete fabrications, as are her newest declarations of embezzlement, fraud and animal brokering. Every word from the Doodle Rescue Collective camp toward me or our rescue, Oodles of Doodles, Inc., is false and slanderous and while I do have a legal case, I refuse to spend our rescue funds with the nonsense put forth by this bitter woman. Despite claims that the IRS, FBI, Consumer Affairs or anyone else is looking into my fraud and deception, is more lies. NOT ONE legal entity has contacted me in the two years I have been accused by her except for her friend and Trustee at Large, Jodi Goldberg of All Things Pawssible Rescue of Downingtown, PA. Her claim that I stole a dog, that was delivered to my home by a puppymill rescue, including all paperwork and approval to adopt him out of my rescue, is also a complete altering of the truth to suit their needs and despite them using their rescue money to come after me, the motion to extort payment from me was “denied” by the court. I was ordered to reveal the name of the adopter, which I did and when they could not get her to further charge me with whatever they could make up, they decided to slander me all over Facebook and send their nasty grams to shelters and rescues I have associations with. Ms. Goldberg adopted two dogs to me, personally in 2006 and 2007 and all claims of ignorance of me is fabricated.

Jacqueline Yorke is an actress and wedding singer, who is presenting herself to the rescue community as a seasoned rescue authority. She is the fraud and liar and the proof is in her own words and writings. She offers not one iota of PROOF, yet laboriously describes my supposed sins and faults as though it were documented. What proof she does give, my resignation letter for example, is a clear resignation from the rescue I helped found. Yet, she claims I was “removed” by consensus. Why then does it not say so? She claims I changed passwords and locked her out of MY website, this was after she emptied out our joint bank account and as my lawyer, and I am sure hers has told her, the website was and is my property until such time as I either sell it or stop paying for it, it will continue to be.

Oodles of Doodles, Inc. is a legal non-profit entity in the state of NJ and hopefully someday we will file our 501(c)3, however we still have time before we are legally required to do so. We became incorporated in November, 2010 and have rescued, transported, vetted, fostered and loved over 160 dogs in that time. Most, we have found loving adoptive homes for and we continue to be in contact and watch as our rescue pups learn to love and trust in their Forever Homes. Three dogs have needed to be returned for various reasons and we have taken them back, as we always will.

I am not sure what transpired with the latest issue in Texas, which is plastered all over their website, Facebook and Petfinder ads. Petfinder has been notified. In speaking with the rehomer, she has assured me that she has never heard of Doodle Rescue Collective and had no knowledge that there was a problem with Leila, who was adopted months ago. Emails and calls to the adopter have gone unanswered. She was sent our contract to use and the adopter signed it. Further legal action may be forthcoming. However, Oodles of Doodles Rescue did not solicit a Rehome Fee, nor did we twist any arms to get one. We ask for a donation and sometimes get one and sometimes do not. The allegation of “brokering” animals is further proof of Ms. Yorke’s delirium.

We, at Oodles of Doodles, Inc., are very proud of what we are building and will not address her claims in public or get into a she said, she said match of school-girl bickering but if you have received one of these letters, or saw the latest “Fraud Alert” posted on the DRC website or on Facebook, let this serve as our rebuttal. We will be more than willing to let anyone see the mounds of emails from before, during and after the creation of the DRC; the financial records of the DRC before and during the time I was Vice President and Treasurer including the bank statements and whose name it was all in; the emails surrounding my resignation and closing of the website; the web of slander that began right after I threw her off my website, almost two years ago and that continues to this day; the many letters received from deceived fosters, rescues and shelters she has lied to, stole from, used their 501c3 to pull dogs for her own rescue, or offered to do home visits for then adopted one of her dogs to the adopter; or any other PROOF I have that will get her to leave me and my rescue alone. I almost hope the IRS, FBI and lawyers do come looking for me as I sure have a lot to show them.

In closing, I apologize for being the catalyst for bringing Jacquie Yorke, DRC President; Liz Syring, DRC VP #2, Jeannine Smith, DRC VP #3, Adrianne Matzkin, DRC Secretary #2; Ricky Johnson, alias FB account of Jacquie York; Jodi Goldberg, ATPAR President and Trustee at Large (whatever that is), or any of her few remaining cohorts to your door and with my name attached. I assure you that not one iota of her ramblings are true and I look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Hi K—–,

I hope your remember me from working with me last year with Sir Squeaks Alot aka Milo. The reason for my email is to make sure there is no confusion between Lynne Fowler AKA “Oodles of Doodles” and Doodle Rescue Collective Inc. There is quite a bit of history between her and Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc that needs to be shared in order to avoid further confusion and to quite frankly keep Lynne Fowler from being able to pull dogs for her mock “rescue”. Dogs she truly has no resources to care for. First Lynne Fowler was once a member of our organization until she embezzled a few thousand dollars, went behind our backs and stole our original website, URLs and other intellectual property. She was legally removed from the DRC organization in May 2010 but continues to use our stolen URLs our name and other DRC intellectual property to purposely confuse people and divert dogs and donation monies to her fraudulent non-profit and mock rescue. This whole situation was brought to my attention because I saw the doodle listed in one of your photo albums that is going to Lynne Fowler at Oodles of Doodles. And I also saw your comment on the photo about Ricky Johnson and deleting his comment. Please forgive Ricky, he can be quite passionate about his support of the Original Doodle Rescue Collective and our founder Jacqueline Yorke. You mentioned in your comment that you have been working with Oodles of Doodles for years. That is quite impossible as Oodles of Doodles is not even in existence an entire year, has less than that in rescue experience and they do not hold a 501c3. That all being said, I am almost positive you are confusing Doodle Rescue Collective with Oodles of Doodles.

We have recently started posting information about Lynne Fowler because honestly we have had it with her using our name to facilitate her rescue. She was a former board member of Doodle Rescue Collective Inc that was removed by the board for conduct unbecoming of a board officer (theft, etc). She stole our URL and website in the middle of the night while the rest of the board was sleeping. We have miles and miles of information about Lynne Fowler and why she should not be trusted to rescue animals. She will mislead anyone to believing she is Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc to further her agenda. She continues to use our URL with our registered DBA and likes others to believe she is the actual holder of our 501c3…nothing could be further from the truth. She does not have a 501c3!!

We are working closely with Petfinder to have her removed and to stop using our name. Please read the information that we have posted on our website and I urge you to not use Lynne Fowler or Oodles of Doodles to save any of the doodle dogs that come into Springfield, MO.

Lynne also stole a very sick dog from a rescue in PA, ATPAR…she was sued in court and lost…see this link: http://www.doodlerescue.org/group/rescueinthenews/forum/topics/lynne-fowler-court-order-to-return-stolen-labradoodle

Here is part of our letter sent to Susan Greene at Petfinder.

Last night at 1:00AM we received an emergency call from one of our veterinary affiliates in Carrolton, Texas that took in an 18 month old Labradoodle surrendered to them due to “bowel obstruction”…
The vet told us by the looks of the X-rays the dog (Leila) must have had this bowel obstruction for weeks! She just went into septic shock last night which is what prompted the “owner” to bring Leila to the vet.

The owner informed the vet that they had just adopted the dog a few weeks ago ” for a $425 adoption fee from a very shady woman and rescue called Oodles of Doodles in New Jersey” ….. When told the cost of the surgery to remove the foreign object, the owner told the vet they could not afford the surgery and told him to euthanize her…..

The vet did not of course and instead obtained a release agreement from the owner along with all of the dogs original paperwork from the original owner in Texas and the bogus Oodles of Doodles paperwork and contacted us immediately…

We paid the $1600 for the emergency surgery and the dog is now safe with DRC.

Leila’s O of D PF Listing
http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/21832382

We are in the process of gathering all of the paperwork together to forward to you. When contacted this morning, Leila’s original owner stated to us that she was looking for Doodle Rescue Collective when she instead stumbled upon Oodles of Doodles and Lynne Fowler and “was intentionally misled to believe that I was dealing with DRC all along! ”

DRC and IDOG both maintain a tremendous presence in the state of Texas and both organizations have literally rescued hundreds of doodles in that region. I assure you that if there is a doodle in need in TX whether in either a shelter or on craigslist, one or both organizations knows about it and acts immediately to ensure the dog’s safety. Both organizations maintain offices, Regional Directors and hundreds of volunteers within the Texas region and when it comes to doodle dogs and poodle mixes, both organizations are counted on for assistance.

Lynne Fowler has ZERO RESOURCES in Texas or any other place for that matter. What she does have is “virtual friendships” with every detestable, disreputable lowlife on Facebook claiming to be involved in animal welfare.

What is obviously happening is due to Lynne Fowler’s illegal retention of our stolen URLs, her blatant and intentional use of our name, versions of our name, and intellectual property on Petfinder and on the internet, people are truly believing they are dealing with Doodle Rescue Collective when they are not….

Clearly, poor Leila is one of the many other O of D casualties we have alerted you to over the last 18 plus months since our website and URLs were stolen by Lynne Fowler. Obviously, Leila was an owner re-home and was adopted to the first schmuck in Texas willing to pay $425 for her and with absolutely no veterinary care or emotional investment of any kind provided by Oodles of Doodles, no home check, no follow up and absolutely NO REGARD for the health and well being of this poor animal.

Please feel free to email or call me at 317.224.9332 for any additional information. Please know that we do not like this drama as much as the next, but the time has come for all to know just exactly who they are dealing with in regards to Lynne Fowler.

On a much happier note, I’ve attached a photo of Sir Squeeks Alot aka Milo all grown up! He was one awesome pup (I fostered him) and he was adopted by one of our wonderful volunteers…he is truly living the high life!

Also, we are more than happy to work with Laticia at Halfway Home Rescue to take this doodle into our program. (they should already have our 501c3 paperwork from pulling Milo for us). I have transport and fosters available in Illinois and Indiana.

Thank you so much for all you do for the poor pups who have the misfortune of ending up in the Springfield, MO shelter…my heart just breaks for them all but you do such wonderful work getting them out of there and safe.

Warmly,
